Jeff Moody began Upward Bound Ministries in September, 1983 with only one goal and objective: to encourage and edify the Body of Christ bringing each member to the realization of his/her value and worth to God.

    The Apostle Paul writes in Philippians 3:14, "I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." I truly believe God is calling each of us to take our eyes off the world, getting rid of the moral filth and evil that surrounds us. Through this ministry, it is my prayer that I might gain opportunities to encourage followers of Christ to go beyond believing. The Lord is calling for disciples. Those willing to step out, taking action upon their belief, committing themselves to the upward call of God.

    Whether through concerts, worship leading or speaking the Word to youth and adults alike, one thing you will experience through the presentation of this ministry is excitement for the grace and mercies of Christ Jesus.

    It is a privilege to introduce this ministry to you. It belongs to the Lord and has been committed unto His glory. Through each opportunity of sharing, it is my deepest desire that God will use Upward Bound Ministries as an instrument of encouragement to His Body, the Church, and the building up of the saints.

    It is my prayer that this ministry may be of service to you through the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
